The history of tannery machine production in Czechoslovakia began at the beginning of 20th century with the manufacturing of trademark BATA Zlin. These manufactured machines and associated equipment were initially intended only to equip Bata's tanneries.

A new enterprise was established in 1947 going by the name STROJOSVIT and since then it has produced its registered trademark Strojosvit machines.

More than 70 years on the ground research have gone into the design, development and manufacturing of our tannery machines. Throughout these years we have accomplished some excellent results such as the production of the world's very first through feed staking machine Mollisa. The production of Mollisa as well as our through feed ironing machine Famosa have resulted in world-wide recognition for Strosjovit as an outstanding leader within the industry.

Our growing expertise has led to a gradual expansion of our production range and since our inception we have produced more than 38.000 machines for our world-wide export market.

We are proud of our trademark Strojovit tannery machines, which we have now been developing for more than fifty years.
